FFIX Angel of Death

I'm ashamed to realize that I love Kuja and my gallery doesn't have any fanarts of him... so I finally did it.

You can notice that I butchered his costume, that is a bit different from the original, but I kinda used as reference Amano's artwork [link] rather than the Dissidia or the FF9 designs... and also did some improvisations by myself. I know it doesn't look as great as the originals and stuff, but I'm really proud of how this came out.

I wanted his sleeves and his robe to resemble wings, since he's called the Angel of Death. And I played with colors, like a peacock's colorful plumage.

It's hard to don't look at his man-thong, but I loved how his boots came out. Just gorgeous. They were the hardest part of the whole drawing and I'm happy with it.



I've been playing Dissidia 012 these late days... and I'm liking a lot how's Kuja's role there. Very radical from his former role on the first game and the original FF, but I like it. Kujie-coo is awesome.
